College Football Playoff
Well let's jump straight into the College Football Playoff. Georgia vs Alabama is one of the best college games I've ever seen. However, the refs completely ruined that second half. I give Alabama's coaches alot of credit for making the adjustments at halftime most notably the switch at QB, but let's be clear Georgia was the better team and if not for a handful of missed and/or questionable calls Nick Saban doesn't have his 6th title. The Bulldog defense was even better than expected keeping Hurts pretty much contained in the pocket and daring him to throw deep. The switch to the freshman in the second half transformed that Tide offense and eventually took advantage of some holes in the zone. The front 4 for Georgia lived in the Tide back field for most of the game. By consistently rotating personal on the defensive line they starters were still fresh enougj to pressure the entire game. On the other side Alabama completely shut down the run with its front 7 and even bringing a safety down in the box, and forcing Jake Fromm to throw into tight windows on the outside. Overall a great game minus the refs in the second half. Both teams and coaches alike should be proud of all those involved in this game. The best part of it all it's that with the way both teams are recruiting and improving we could very well see this same match-up in next years CFP.
